MARCH MUSING
By Terry Heinzmann
It's March and those of us in New England are getting pretty tired of winter and it's cold temperatures. Not to mention snow and ice.
We start thinking about spring and the hot summer months to come. I thought I'd post a painting of watermelon, a real summer treat and one that just about everyone loves to eat.
I love this painting for its simplicity and vibrant colors.
Our neighbors have the most beautiful garden every year. They grow everything - flowers, vegetables, fruit as well as lovely perennials.
I couldn't resist painting some of their blueberries a few years ago.
